VERANDA PAUL & VIRGINIE HOTEL & SPA
Paul & Virginie were lovers. When Virginie drowned on the sailing ship Saint Geran off the North East Coast during a cyclone, Paul was so devastated that he died shortly thereafter of a broken heart. The story of these star crossed lovers was immortalised by JH Bernardin de Sainte-Pierre in 1787 and has become a definition of true love. And so has Veranda Paul & Virginie. Dotted with sun beds, love nests and hammocks this adult only resort is a romantic hideaway for two.
